Celebrating 150 Years
MEMORIES & VISIONS
1872 - 2022
TELL YOUR STORY
As part of the town’s 150th celebration, the Orange County Historical Society will be collecting memories of the past and visions for the future of our community. We hope that you will participate in this oral history project.
We want to hear what you have to say about the past, present and future of our little town. To do this, we’re are collecting interviews about your story and our town.
“Memories and Visions” interviews will be conducted at the Orange School of Performing Arts during the town’s 150th celebration, Saturday, June 11 and again on June 19th at the Orange Train Station to coincide with the Juneteenth celebration. No appointment is necessary on June 11th or June 19th. Just come on in and tell us your story.
Once we’ve collected all of the interviews we will select as many as we can to post on the Town’s 150th Anniversary and Historical Society’s websites. Some snippets of the interviews may appear in a documentary being produced by the Orange County Historical Society, due out later this year.
So why wait? Come tell your story and become part of “Memories and Visions” of our hometown, Orange, Virginia.
